Time-Based Campaign

In this section, you will learn about Time based campaigns.

What is a Time-based campaign?

Time-based campaign type is a campaign that is triggered not by the event but at a certain time during the day.

Time-based campaigns run after midnight according to the timezone configured for the tenant.

Performance limitations

• Time-based Campaigns can be triggered for audiences equal to or lower than 200,000.

• The maximum number of Time-based campaigns is 4 (active and inactive) in the loyalty program (in one tenant).

• The limit does not apply to birthday and anniversary campaigns.

Time-based campaign triggers

In the time-based campaign, you can select time triggers:

• Daily

• Weekly

• Monthly

• Member's birthday

• Membership anniversary

For the Daily time trigger - Conditions Tiers and Member segments in the Rules are removed.

For the Daily time trigger, you will be able to target the following members:

• Everyone

• Segment (only 1 at once)

• Tier (only 1 at once)

Daily Campaign

The daily campaign is triggered every day at 00:00 AM.

For the Daily time trigger, you will be able to target the following members:

• Everyone

• Segment (only 1 at a time)

• Tier (only 1 at a time)

Weekly Campaign

For the Weekly time trigger, you will be able to target the following members:

• Everyone

• Segment (only 1 at once)

• Tier (only 1 at once)

and select triggering every week on selected days under the 'Repeat on' settings.

Monthly Campaign

For the Monthly time trigger, you will be able to target the following members:

• Everyone

• Segment (only 1 at a time)

• Tier (only 1 at a time)

and to Repeat on:

• Specific days - Day X of each month/Days X, Y, Z of each month

• Last day of month

Members' Birthday

This Campaign type is based on the date of birth of an existing Member in the system. If you want to reward Members on their birthday, use this Campaign. Each day at 00:00 Members who celebrate their birthday will receive the reward specified in the Campaign.

If a member's account is created on his birthday, the member will not be rewarded in the campaign, since the rewards are given only at 00:00 AM.

You can create a birthday campaign that includes members registered on their birthdays using expressions.

Membership Anniversary

This Campaign type is based on the Registration date of an existing Member in the system. If you want to reward Members on their anniversary, use this Campaign. Each day at 00:00 Members who celebrate their anniversary will receive the reward specified in the Campaign.
