Tiers

Tiers are a mechanism for categorizing Members based on the Units earned or the value of their purchases. Each Tier has a condition value that every member has to meet to get a Tier. If the Transaction value or the number of Units is bigger, then the Tier to which they are assigned is higher. The same will happen, but the other way around. If the Member loses Units he will drop to a lower Tier.
In this section, you will learn all about Tiers, how to create them and how to manage them.

Tier will be calculated with

The way Members will get the Tiers depends on you. In the configuration of Tiers, you can choose that the Tiers will be calculated according to Units or Transactions.
  • Units The Tiers will be calculated based on the Member's earned Units. When you select "Units" below, the "Tier downgrade settings mode" configuration will appear. And here you will decide if your tires should be a downgrade and if so, how they should be lowered.
    • Automatic Is possible if the Member returns their order or if the Tier is changed manually by the Administrator E.g: Member "X" has a Tier of "0". He bought shoes that gave him 230 Units, and those Units took him one Tier higher to Tier "1". After 6 days, the "X" Member decided to return the shoes. After returning the order he goes back to Tier "0".
    • Every x number of days The Member's Tier will be recalculated every given number of days based on:
      • Active Units All accumulated, active Units
The Reset Units option appears only when you selected Active Units. When you mark it, Open Loyalty resets all Active and Locked Units and move it to Expired Units pool after specified Downgrade every number of days.
      • Earned Units since last Tier change All accumulated, active Units since the last Tier change
      • Earned Units within last x days All accumulated, active Units within last x days
    • None The Tier of Members doesn't go down
  • Transactions The Tiers will be calculated based on the sum of the Member's purchase amount.

If you choose that the Tier will be calculated based on the Transaction. You can exclude a specific SKU from the calculation of the Tier to which Members will be assigned. Any SKUs you add won’t be included in the calculation.
