Segment Conditions

In this section, you will find a list of conditions that you can base your segments on.

Segment conditions

Conditions can be added separately in a specific Segment or mixed to create a Segment with a more advanced group. In this article, we'll briefly describe the differences between them, what data they need, and how to use them.


Customer profile recurring dates:

  • Birthday in X number of days

  • Registration date in X number of days

Create a Segment for Members who have had birthdays or signed in on a certain number of days.

For example:

The Segment to which Members who have birthdays within 14 days of today or who registered will be assigned.


Age

A Segment of members in a specific age group is calculated based on the member's birthday.

For example: Members in the age group between 35 and 65


Country

A Segment of members located in a specific country.

For example: Members from France


City

A Segment of members located in a specific city.

For example: Members from London


Province

A Segment of members located in a specific province.

For example: Members from Birmingham


Postal code

A Segment of members located in a specific province.

For example: Members from BT22 1AZ


Achievement completion

The condition that allows for grouping the members who have completed the specific achievement.


Achievement progression overall rules

The condition that allows for grouping the members who have progressed the specific achievement for overall rules.


Achievement progression last x days rules

The condition that allows for grouping the members who have progressed the specific achievement in the last x days rules.


Avg. transaction value range

A Segment of Members whose average Transaction value is within the defined range.

For example:

A Segment with assigned Members whose average value of all Transactions is in the range 1750 - 2500.


Bought in a specific channel

The Segment with Members who have purchased a specific channel (at least once).

For example:

A Segment with Members who purchased in your online store or one of the offline stores.


Bought products with custom attributes

The Segment of Members who purchased products with a label on the product, which is on the label list. Tags are key-value pairs that can be attached to products.

For example:

A Segment with assigned Members who bought trousers(key) - jeans(value).


Bought specific brands

The Segment of Members who have purchased products from a specific brand, which is on the list of brands.

For example:

A Segment with Members who bought a product from the brand Bosch.


Bought specific SKU

The Segment of Members who have purchased products with a specific SKU.

For example:

A Segment with Members who bought products with a specific SKU “123QWE” or “ZXC321”.


Custom members list

The Segment of Members who were added by an admin user.

For example:

A Segment with the most active Members. The admin can search via e-mail or member ID to add the custom list. The example below presents the list with the member IDs:


Members have such custom attribute values

The Segment of Members who have tags value are the same as on the list. Tags are key-value pairs that you can attach to Members while creating or editing an account.

For example:

A Segment of wholesale or individual Members (Key – member type, Value – wholesale or Key – Member type, Value – individual)


Members who have such custom attributes

The Segments of Members who have tags value are the same as on the list. Tags are key-value pairs that you can attach to Members during creating or editing an account.

For example:

Create a Segment of Members belonging to Key - Member type: group


Number of transactions in a given period

A Segment of Members with specific transactions in the selected timeframe (calendar dates).


Daily gross value in a given period

A Segment of Members who have spent a specified gross value per day in a specified period.

For example:

A Segment of Members who spent between 20 and 400 gross value per day from 01-01-2021 to 01-10-2021.


Daily gross value in last x days

The Segment contains Members who spent a certain gross value per day in the last x days.

For example:

A Segment of Members who spent between 20 and 400 gross value per day in the last three days.


Gender

Member Segment that is set to a specific gender.

For example:

A Segment with Members who have set their gender to female.


Transaction within the last X number of days

The Segment with Members who made the last purchase in the last x days.

For example:

A Segment with Members who last purchased in the 5 days.


Transaction date range

The Segment with Members who made a purchase (at least one) within the specified date range.

For example:

A Segment with Members who made purchases in the first two weeks of March.


Total gross value in given period

The Segment with Members who have spent a specified total gross value in a specified period.

For example:

A Segment with Members who spent between 2000 and 3000 total gross value from 01-02-2021 to 02-03-2021.


Total gross value in last x days

The Segment contains Members who spent a certain total gross value in the last x days.

For example:

A Segment of Members who spent between 250 and 400 total gross value in the last three days.


Transaction count range

A Segment of Members with the number of Transactions within the specified range.

For example:

A Segment of Members whose Transactions count is between 10-20.


% of transactions in channel

The Segment of Members whose number of Transactions in a specified channel is within a specific percent value.

For example:

A Segment of Members whose 18% of all Transactions were carried out in a specific channel.


Transaction value range

The Segment of Members whose overall amount of Transactions is within the range.

For example:

A Segment of Members whose value of Transactions is between $100 - $200.


Transaction/Custom event between last x and y days

The segment of members who have had a transaction or Custom events between the last x and y days.
