Badges
This article explains how badges can be assigned and used in your loyalty program.
Overview
Badges are a visual representation of a member's achievements. As soon as a member completes an achievement, they're automatically rewarded with a distinctive badge, which can be proudly displayed on their profile.
These badges help you quickly identify engaged community members, allowing you to tailor campaigns and benefits for your most active users.
Badges are automatically named after the name of the achievement.
You can customize their names and manually adjust their count in a member's profile after they have been initially earned.
Managing Badges
Changing a badge name
Badges initially inherit the name of the achievement they are linked to. You can change this to a custom name at any time.
Go to Achievements in the main navigation.
Locate the achievement associated with the badge you wish to rename.
Click the three dots icon (⋮) on the right side of the achievement row.
Select Change badge name from the dropdown menu.
In the New badge name field, enter your desired name for the badge.
Click Save changes.

Adjusting a badge count in a member's profile
While badges are earned automatically through achievement completion, you can manually adjust the number of times a member has earned a specific badge.
Keep in mind that you cannot manually add a badge if the associated achievement has not been completed at least once.
Go to Members in the main navigation.
Find the member whose badge count you want to adjust and click on their name to view their profile.
Navigate to the Badges section within the member's profile.
Locate the badge you wish to modify.
Click the Edit badge count button or icon next to the badge.
In the Badge count field, enter the new number of badges.
Click Save changes.

Using member badges in campaign rules
You can leverage member badges as conditions within your campaign rules to target specific member groups (those who earned a given number of badges).
Go to Campaigns in the main navigation.
Create a new campaign or edit an existing one.
In the Rules section, click Add rule.
Under New condition, select Member badges as the condition type.
Choose the specific Badge name you want to use for the condition.
Select the desired Condition operator (e.g., Is equal, Is greater than, Is less than).
Enter the corresponding value for the condition.
Click Save condition.

Final tips and comments
Understanding Badge Count vs. Achievement Completion: When you manually change the completed count of a badge in a member's profile, it does not affect the completed count of the related achievement. The achievement's completion status remains tied to the member's actions.
Visibility: Badge counts are visible in the member's profile, providing a quick overview of their engagement.
Strategic Use: Use badges to create a visual incentive system and segment your audience for targeted marketing efforts.
